Parts Coordinator

Serves as a link between channel partners and the Company to communicate and resolve issues of a medium complexity surrounding complete goods or Service Parts orders, product configuration, availability and shipments. Major duties include producing, updating, and providing best practice support on a wide range of Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.

Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required. Carry out a range of supply chain management activities. Help manage internal clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others. Use the internal communications system to access specific information. Support others by performing a range of facilities management activities. Operate complex equipment and machines, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity.

Also responsible for generating solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.

Skills, abilities, knowledge include verbal communication, planning and organizing, policy and procedures, computer skills, data control, action planning, data collection and analysis, office systems. Education includes post-secondary non-tertiary education. Work experience includes basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months) and very limited work based experience (0 to 3 months).

Your responsibilities as a Packaging Operations Coordinator for Mattoon Distribution Center located in Mattoon, IL, will work on a variety of tasks such as determining packaging and container solutions for service parts traveling through the network, supporting packaging operations in projects related to safety, quality and productivity, performing general administrative tasks such as data-entry, document preparation and email communication to support third-party packaging facility's day-to-day operations, and coordinating the resolution of parts problems between parts distribution center, factories, vendors and dealers regarding parts identification, mixed stock, defective stock or unshipped orders.

What skills you need include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.), critical-thinking and decision-making skills, ability to look at datasets, and experience leading issue resolution amongst a cross-functional team.

What makes you stand out includes experience working in a warehouse or production environment, experience with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP), knowledge of developing work standards, and administrative experience.

Requirements include being able to lift 50lbs, being able to be on their feet 70% of the day, being comfortable in a high-traffic warehouse environment, and being available to work 40 hours/weekly. Education ideally includes a bachelor's degree in business or supply-chain or equivalent related work experience.
