Position: Supvr Materials & Logistics - 2nd Shift (10AM-6PM)

Overview

Supvr Materials & Logistics - 2nd Shift (10AM-6PM)  2nd shift for this role will be Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Primary Duties
  • Implement initiatives designed to assure the highest levels of warehouse, retail site and delivery services, including scheduled and emergency requests to support Exelon’s reliability and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Support client-focused interface with customers to align inventory management processes with work planning and CM material needs.
  • Supervise warehouse management processes including material pick, issue, staging, return, transportation to retail sites; manage open/working stock, cycle counts, in-storage maintenance, and shelf-life management.
  • Supervise the pole delivery process, including daily monitoring and stocking of pole bunkers, safe delivery to job sites, and return of poles to inventory as needed.
  • Support balancing cost control with client needs to meet service, cost, and asset management objectives.
  • Support the Business Units’ Emergency Response activities as assigned.
Job Scope
  • Provide support for the execution of inventory management processes across major distribution facilities, remote job sites, emergency warehouses, and starting areas to achieve customer reliability and satisfaction goals and support emergency restoration of services.
  • Impact external customer satisfaction in terms of service reliability (outage duration and frequency).
  • Supervise Supply warehouse and shop employees and interface with business unit clients representing various departments.
  • Travel on average approximately 50% across Exelon sites and units as business needs dictate.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 4–7 years of experience, or High school diploma/equivalent with 6–9 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Passport (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of supervisory experience with union employees.
