Inventory Supervisor

Overview

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory operations within the organization. This role entails monitoring stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and implementing effective inventory management strategies. The Inventory Supervisor will lead a team of inventory associates, optimize storage practices, and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of inventory management systems.

• Oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Manage and train inventory team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales departments to align inventory levels with demand
• Optimize storage practices and maintain organized inventory layout
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or supervision
• Proven track record of implementing inventory control processes
• Familiarity with inventory management software and MS Office applications

• Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS, CILT)
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Knowledge of lean inventory practices
• Experience in a similar industry
