SAP EAM Serialization Lead (Contract | W2 Only)
Remote (with limited travel to Illinois or Texas).
Contract:
Initial 6 months (extension likely). Only accepting W2 Candidates.
We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Serialization Lead to drive the design and delivery of a comprehensive, end-to-end product lifecycle platform for serialized equipment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on solution architect who thrives at the intersection of manufacturing, supply chain, and asset lifecycle management.
About the RoleIn this role, you will lead the design of a scalable, hybrid architecture that integrates material and serial number tracking with Equipment Master (EAM) to enable complete lifecycle visibility from manufacturing through service, reconditioning, and retirement. You will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end SAP solutions across Manufacturing (Plan‑to‑Produce), Order‑to‑Cash (including service and reconditioning), Inventory & Warehouse Management (EWM), and Asset Management (EAM / Plant Maintenance).
You will define lifecycle tracking strategies using serial number management, Equipment Master, and inspection, maintenance, and recertification processes. Additionally, you will architect and deliver preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, inspection plans, compliance workflows, and service/refurbishment processes.
- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4
HANA, including:- EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM)
- Materials Management (MM)
- Production Planning (PP)
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Deep expertise in:
- Serialized product tracking
- Equipment Master and asset lifecycle management
- Maintenance plans, notifications, and work orders
- Inspection and compliance processes
- Experience with:
- Service, repair, and refurbishment processes
- Warehouse operations (EWM preferred)
- Knowledge of:
- SAP BTP (APIs, CPI, extensions)
- Analytics tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere/BW)
- Exposure to AI, predictive maintenance, or automation is a plus
