Inventory Control Specialist – Overview

Justrite Safety Group, located in Mattoon, IL, seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to support the Operations team in managing inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory data management.

• Perform daily inventory cycle counts.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory counts and adjust inventory in the system as needed.
• Troubleshoot inventory inaccuracies and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, implement, and monitor regular physical inventories and report results for auditing.
• Cultivate team spirit and promote inter‑departmental cooperation by improving internal processes.
• Work closely with other department leaders to resolve issues.
• Ensure planning and inventory control activities comply with all safety and quality policies and standards.
• Maintain and organize records and files related to inventory operations.
• Assist with the maintenance of the bill‑of‑material systems to enhance scheduling and materials management functions.

• Experience reviewing inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials and proposing revised layouts.
• Willingness to operate a scissor‑lift/picker truck to count items stored in racking.

Competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $57,000, with potential for base adjustment based on location, experience, and performance. Eligible for an annual incentive plan tied to business and financial targets.
