Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift) – Perm Placement

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our team on the night shift. This permanent position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional maternal and neonatal care within a supportive healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to obstetric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.

Provide clinical leadership to the healthcare team during assigned shifts, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, midwives, and specialists to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Conduct thorough assessments, recognizing normal and abnormal findings, and promptly communicating relevant data to physicians and team members.

Develop, implement, and evaluate care strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs to achieve measurable health outcomes.

Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to team members, supporting professional growth and team development.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, peers, and other healthcare professionals.

Actively pursue ongoing education through unit-based in-service programs, literature review, and participation in professional development activities.

Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and effective communication.

Educate patients and their families, employing appropriate teaching strategies to promote health and safety.

Manage bed assignments and coordinate patient care delivery during the shift to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications.
Proven experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical learning.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly pay rate: $37.23 – $57.71, based on experience.
Shift differential: $4.00 on weekdays, an additional $2.00 on weekends (stackable).

Additional Information:
