The Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) is responsible for providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. This role requires strong clinical expertise, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment.
Must-Have Qualifications- Minimum 1–2+ years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery
- Active Illinois RN License (Required prior to start)
- BLS Certification (AHA – Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
- NRP Certification (Required)
- Experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Experience in high-acuity or hospital-based L&D units
- Familiarity with fetal monitoring systems
- Strong patient care and communication skills
