American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and an active IL RN license.
Details- General Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry patients
- Night shift schedule with 10-hour shifts
- 36 or 48-hour contract options with overtime after 48 hours
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope to similar units may be required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active IL RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg telemetry experience required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- 2 professional references from similar recent experience (1-2 years) required
- Provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions
- Local candidates are not accepted
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
