A local government entity is seeking an Animal Shelter Attendant responsible for caring for impounded animals, performing euthanasia procedures, and maintaining the shelter in an orderly condition. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, experience with animal care, and the ability to work with the public in challenging situations. A certification for euthanasia will be necessary within six months of hire, along with the willingness to receive Rabies vaccination.

This is a full-time position located in Illinois.
