Groundskeeper Assistant is responsible for assisting in maintaining Health Center grounds in an attractive and orderly condition. Trims lawns, plants trees and installs and maintains landscape sites. Operates lawn care equipment.

Required:

High School Diploma, Valid IL Driver's License

Pay: based on experience, $16.54/hour

Responsibilities:

Cultivates, plants, waters, fertilizes, weeds, edges and trims turf areas, flower beds, shrubs and trees. Operates heavy construction equipment, dump truck, riding and push mowers, tillers, sweepers, edgers and other light yard equipment. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs including fueling, lubricating and cleaning machinery. Performs lawn renovation including landscape construction of walls, patios, sidewalks and flower beds, and masonry work to upgrade and maintain the appearance and safety of the medical complex.

Rakes, collects and disposes of leaves and refuse from the Health Center complex.

Compensation:

Estimated Compensation Range $16.54 - $25.24
