Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis individual will prepare food to the chefs’ exact specifications and set up stations to prepare the menu. Line Cook responsibilities include assisting all chefs with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will contribute to customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Primary Duties Include- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
- Cook items on the menu in cooperation with the kitchen staff
- Follow instructions from executive or sous chef
- Clean up station and label leftovers properly
- Stock inventory following guidelines
- Ensure food quality, timeliness, and presentation
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
- Maintain professionalism with co-workers and customers

QualificationsRequired:
- Proven cooking experience, including as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, procedures
- Accuracy and speed in task execution
- Familiarity with industry best practices
- Serve Safe Certification within 2 weeks of employment
