The Regional Sales Manager (Territory Manager) is responsible for managing and expanding a defined territory by strengthening customer relationships, increasing product penetration, and identifying new business opportunities. This is a field-driven sales role requiring extensive travel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to represent a broad and diverse product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an established multi-million-dollar book of business within the territory.
- Conduct regular in-person visits with independent distributors and food service partners to build relationships and drive sales.
- Expand product penetration and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Present and promote a large portfolio of frozen, refrigerated, and dry products across multiple categories.
- Maintain accurate customer information, pricing updates, and account activity.
- Address customer questions related to pricing, delivery, and product availability.
- Communicate territory updates, feedback, and market insights to internal teams.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and product training sessions.
- Participate in scheduled onsite meetings at headquarters (2–3 days monthly).
- Organize weekly travel routes efficiently to maximize customer appointments and overall territory coverage.
- Uphold professional standards and support a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food service sales, distributor account management, or territory-based selling.
- Experience working with large product portfolios and familiarity with diverse food service categories.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities.
- Highly organized, self-sufficient, and capable of managing a territory independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%, including overnight travel).
