An established organization in the luxury furnishings and contract design industry is seeking a Territory Representative to develop and grow business across the Chicago market. This role focuses on new business development, account expansion, and relationship management within a defined territory.

This position is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment, is comfortable managing a full sales cycle, and enjoys owning their territory strategy.

Position Summary

The Territory Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining a strong market presence within the assigned territory. The role works closely with sales leadership while operating with a high level of autonomy in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve sales goals
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with existing accounts
  • Engage decision-makers and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support projects, orders, and client expectations
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting in a CRM system
  • Provide regular updates and market insights to sales leadership
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of B2B sales experience
  • Background in luxury furniture, home furnishings, hospitality, design, or contract sales strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to generate new business and close opportunities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Territory:
    Chicago and surrounding market
