Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, Linked In, and other channels to generate interest in Metric Stream’s solutions.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, assessing their business needs and fit for our products.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations with key decision-makers to understand their pain points and educate them on Metric Stream’s value proposition.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team to move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to improve lead generation strategies and messaging.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for meetings scheduled and pipeline generated.
  • Continuously learn about GRC industry trends, competitors, and Metric Stream’s product offerings to effectively communicate value to prospects.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
Skills And Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar role, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential customers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle objections, think critically, and adapt messaging to different customer needs.
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar platforms.
  • A passion for learning and developing a career in sales.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
