Diesel Mechanic

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic, located in the Greater Chicago Area. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and heavy equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is safe, reliable, and operates at optimal levels. The role may also require inspecting, identifying, and addressing potential issues to prevent future breakdowns.

• Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Diesel Mechanics
• Experience with Equipment Maintenance and servicing Heavy Equipment
• Skilled in Preventive Maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety of vehicles and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address mechanical issues efficiently
  
  Ability to work on-site and manage tasks in an operational environment
• Valid driver’s license and CDL certification preferred
• Experience or certification in advanced diesel engine systems is a plus
