Your day‑to‑day responsibilities may include:

• Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems
• Complete plug‑and‑play module connections and manage module leads
• Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters
• Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switch gear
• Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs
• Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design
• Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings
• Complete tasks using KE’s internal software systems for reporting and documentation
• Learn from leadership and ask questions to gain a full understanding of assignments
• Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding issues or deviations from scope

You’re someone who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to building renewable infrastructure. Successful candidates typically bring:

• Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program
• Willingness to travel (up to 100%)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Prior documented electrical hours (if applicable)

$20.00 – $40.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Must be capable of working in inclement conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures
• Must be physically capable of manually digging & back‑filling holes and trenches
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs
