Farm Equipment Operator and Maintenance (6372)

• Operation and general maintenance of farm equipment and farmstead.
• Operate semi tractors, trailers, and large farming equipment; haul grain during and after harvest (no overnight over‑the‑road hauling).
• Repair field tile, perform light repairs on modern farm equipment, and maintain grain bins, dryer, and storage facilities.
• Warehouse and deliver seed; climb and maintain bins.
• Operate and maintain GPS and computer equipment systems.
• Operate forklifts.

• Knowledge of a working grain farm.
• Class A CDL license.
• Demonstrated ability to operate large farm equipment.
• Experience in general farm maintenance.
• Ability to keep accurate and timely maintenance records.
• Flexible working hours during spring planting and fall harvest.

• Experience working on a grain farm.
• Experience operating large farm equipment such as John Deere 4‑wheel drive, John Deere Front Wheel Assist, and John Deere Combine.
• Experience with semi tractors, trailers, and various other equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Class A CDL license.
• Experience operating large modern farm equipment.
• General maintenance (painting, carpentry, etc.).
• Shop skills: welding, woodworking, fabricating, tire changing, etc.
