Our client is currently seeking Java Software Engineers
Full time Direct Hire role
This position is not open to VISA sponsorship
Responsibilities- Write clean, maintainable Java code and contribute to debugging, testing, and code reviews.
- Participate in the development of small components within larger engineering projects.
- Support performance analysis and assist with basic troubleshooting activities.
- Learn and apply engineering standards, development best practices, and Git workflows.
- Assist in executing security scanning, documenting findings, and supporting remediation tasks.
- Support CI/CD processes and gain exposure to Dev Ops tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Help create and maintain Splunk dashboards to support monitoring and observability.
- Academic or internship experience with Java development.
- Basic understanding of distributed systems concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals.
- Exposure to unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with relational or No
SQL databases. - Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong desire to learn Dev Ops tools and modern software engineering practices.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science
- OCP Java SE 17+ Programmer Certification
