Job Description

We are seeking a Web Developer to support the United States Transportation Command’s Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain web‑based solutions that facilitate the transition to new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites in support of OCM activities using modern web technologies.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience across devices and browsers.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and produce functional web applications.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure performance standards and security requirements are met.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to web applications and server environments.
- Document development processes, code changes, and prepare reports on progress and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in web development, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with server‑side scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js) and databases (e.g., MySQL, Mongo
DB). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tooling (IDEs, build tools).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
