Audit Senior/Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior/Manager to lead and oversee audit engagements for our diverse clientele, including government and non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in GAAP and a passion for ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Review and finalize audit reports, financial statements, and other client deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing solutions to enhance their financial practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and financial reporting.
• Assist clients with tax preparation and compliance, specifically focusing on IRS Form 990 for non-profit entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
  Master's degree is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on government and non-profit sectors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
