Join Our Software Development Team!
As RTO National continues to grow, we are expanding our internal Software Development team and adding a new Product Manager to support the continued development and improvement of the technology our teams use every day.
Working closely with our Senior Product Manager, this role will connect business operations with Software Development, Business Intelligence, and IT-translating business needs, challenges, and priorities into clear product requirements and actionable development work.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, curious problem-solver who enjoys understanding how a business works, asking thoughtful questions, and bringing structure to complex or ambiguous needs. Success in this role requires strong communication and organization, analytical thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to help move solutions from concept through implementation and adoption.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders, operational teams, and end users to understand business objectives, challenges, workflows, and technology needs.
- Facilitate conversations that uncover root problems, desired outcomes, dependencies, edge cases, and potential gaps before solutions are developed.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements that align with organizational goals and technical implementation needs.
- Develop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, business process documentation, success measures, and other supporting requirements.
- Support the full product and feature delivery lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements development through implementation, validation, release, and adoption.
- Review completed features and functionality to confirm that solutions meet defined business requirements and intended user needs.
- Coordinate business-user feedback, track outstanding questions or action items, identify blockers, and maintain visibility into progress and next steps.
- Maintain an organized and well-defined product backlog in partnership with the Senior Product Manager and development team.
- Help translate strategic product priorities into sequenced, sprint-ready work while identifying conflicting requests, unclear priorities, or dependencies that require further resolution.
- Serve as an approachable resource for operational teams regarding product enhancements, system changes, feature updates, and related questions.
- Support product demonstrations, end-user training, implementation communications, and other activities that help employees understand and successfully adopt new functionality.
- Gather structured feedback following implementation and help evaluate whether deployed solutions continue to meet business needs.
- Collaborate closely with Software Development, Business Intelligence, IT, and operational stakeholders to maintain alignment around requirements, scope, priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
- Use data and analytical thinking to support product decisions, investigate business questions, and validate outcomes when appropriate.
- Help identify opportunities to improve business processes, user experiences, internal systems, and the way teams work together.
- Business & Technical Communication: Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and translate between business needs and technical discussions.
- Curiosity & Discovery: Naturally asks thoughtful questions, challenges assumptions appropriately, and seeks to understand the problem behind the request.
- Analytical Thinking: Able to organize information, identify patterns and dependencies, evaluate alternatives, and draw practical conclusions.
- Problem Solving: Approaches challenges with sound judgment and a focus on finding workable solutions rather than simply identifying problems.
- Organization & Planning: Effectively manages multiple priorities, requirements, follow-ups, deadlines, and stakeholders while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Business Process Thinking: Able to understand how workflows, systems, people, and processes connect and consider the downstream impact of changes.
- Collaboration: Builds productive working relationships across departments and approaches shared goals with a team-first mindset.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a growing organization where priorities, processes, and business needs may evolve.
- Ownership & Follow-Through: Takes responsibility for keeping work…
