is seeking a Directional Drill
Equipment Operator
with a Class A CDL in the Mauldin, SC
area.
Pay Rate: $30 per hour

• Operate an Excavator efficiently and safely
• Operate a Horizontal Drill efficiently and safely
• Learn and independently operate facility equipment
• Use all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Stay updated on industry technological advancements
• Communicate effectively to resolve issues
• Support team efforts and uphold Grid Source’ s mission and values
• Maintain a positive work environment and build professional relationships
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Follow Grid Source policies and procedures

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a Directional Drill, Excavator, and Digger Dyrek
• Valid driver’s license / Class A CDL Required
• Must be willing to take emergency callouts
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and manage crews
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
• High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred
• Experience in environments with moderate to loud noise and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed
