Radiology Evening Medical Receptionist - Part Time

Within the Radiology Department

3:00 pm - 10 pm Monday - Thursday.

No Weekends or Holidays.

Perform various clerical duties to support the operation of the office.

Example of Essential Duties:

• Greeting patients - courteously and professionally.
• Verifying / update insurance information.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Verifying and releasing of patient orders.
• Answering phones - courteously and professionally.
• Scheduling appointments, lab tests, etc.
• Answering general patient questions.
• Taking messages accurately and relaying to appropriate personnel.
• Forwarding charge tickets to data entry.

• Sorting, filing and scanning patient charts.
• Assorted file room duties.
• Assist daytime medical receptionist when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication, phone, and organizational skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.

• HS diploma or GED.

• Previous clerical experience in a Drs. Office and previous experience in billing preferred.
