The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Sales team while also contributing to the strategic growth of the organization. This position ensures the smooth flow of sales processes by maintaining accurate sales data, managing lead and account processing, leading product, and pricing updates, supporting reporting, analytics, and resolving post-order issues such as freight claims, product returns and customer credits.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative with the ability to work cross-departmentally and on time, directly with customers to ensure timely resolution and positive customer experience. This position is designed for progressive growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Investigating, qualify or denying leads by validating contact information, assessing lead quality and fit and documenting all decisions in the CRM to support efficient pipeline management.
  • Support complex account requests and high-value opportunities for sales and leadership ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Audit workflows and automations providing insights that improve processes and support long-term sales planning and success.
  • Manage post-order issues including returns, claims, credits, and logistics by coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify post-order process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Manage product and pricing data throughout the lifecycle by ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally on product launches or discontinuations.
  • Monitor pricing impacts and contribute to the broader pricing strategy discussions.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards analyzing key metrics and trends.
  • Evolve reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage and lead sales operational projects by coordinating cross-functional initiatives, identifying risks, optimize processes, and drive improvements that enhance efficiency across departments.
  • Communicate effectively and effectively with team members and leadership, escalating issues when needed.
  • Lead cross-departmental collaboration to align with shared objectives.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under time or resource constraints.
  • Basic understanding of professional customer service standards
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, or similar support role
PREFERRED
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Sales Force)
  • Experience managing or creating workflows or automations.
  • Familiar with pricing strategy and product lifecycle processes
  • Familiar with data analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) software
  • Project management experience, especially in a cross-functional setting.
