Job Purpose

The primary responsibilities of this role include coordinating with cross‑functional internal teams and OEM‑facing counterparts to ensure the precise and timely execution of tariff‑mitigation and cost‑recovery strategies. This involves aligning all activities with customer commercial expectations, Dana Global Trade Compliance processes to meet current trade‑compliance regulations, and Dana’s established financial performance metrics.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of Sales monthly tariff‑mitigation and cost‑recovery activities managed by Dana Global Trade Compliance, including RVC % identification, reconciliation of import data and validation of broker‑provided 7501 and Commercial Invoice documentation.
  • Maintain and manage the master data file used for quarterly tariff submissions, and offset adjustments, integrating Power BI outputs, broker files, and internal cost data.
  • Populate and maintain specific claim templates to calculate recoverable tariffs based on Commercial Invoice piece price, tariff percentages, and validated evidence packages.
  • Coordinate with Dana Global Trade Compliance to obtain required import documentation (including 7501s and CIs), streamline data accessibility, and drive process improvements.
  • Support BOM data accuracy efforts by identifying discrepancies, eliminating data gaps, and working with cross‑functional teams to reduce inaccuracies.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of templates and reporting tools used for tariff claims.
  • Assist in defining and implementing future‑state processes that reduce manual work, increase data visibility, and support scalable tariff‑mitigation strategies.
  • Support cross‑functional communication by providing clear updates on process status, exception drivers, Tier‑2 impacts, and quarterly submission readiness.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, present, and execute resiliency strategies aligned with customer expectations.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, customs compliance, or commercial operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel (advanced formulas, lookups, data modeling), and data processing workflows.
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Familiarity with customs documentation including 7501 Entry Summary, Commercial Invoices, duty calculations, and tariff classifications (HTS codes).
  • Understanding of import/export compliance, tariff regulations, duty recovery programs, and evidence based claim requirements.
  • Skilled in coordinating with external brokers, suppliers, and OEM counterparts to resolve documentation issues and drive process improvements.
  • Strong presentation skills for summarizing findings, recovery outcomes, and quarterly submission readiness.
  • Professional communication style suitable for customer‑facing commercial teams.
