Location: Maumee, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Overview

Elite Dental Partners is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in Maumee, Ohio. As part of a clinician-led organization that supports more than 75 dental practices nationwide, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside talented dental professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance to Dentists and Hygienists during patient treatment procedures.

Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.

Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with state regulations.

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.

Perform instrument sterilization and operatory disinfection procedures.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative dental care.

Assist with patient charting and clinical documentation.

Support a positive, welcoming, and efficient patient experience.

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements Must Have
  • Completion of a Dental Assisting program.
  • Dental Assistant certification as required by the Ohio State Dental Board.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Dentrix dental software.
  • Experience using electronic dental records and practice management systems.
  • Knowledge of dental treatment planning and patient education.
  • Experience supporting multiple providers in a busy practice.
