We are seeking a dynamic Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced control systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical and software components. Your expertise will help deliver cutting-edge control solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs, fostering innovation and excellence at every stage of project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control systems using schematic capture tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Solid Works, ensuring compliance with industry standards including NEC.
  • Create detailed system designs incorporating FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), SoC (System on Chip), microcontrollers like ARM or Arduino, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Conduct root cause analysis on system failures or performance issues, implementing effective debugging strategies using tools like oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and vision inspection systems.
  • Develop firmware and software using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, Perl, Scripting languages, System Verilog, and Simulink for system automation and signal processing applications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components utilizing CAD tools like Revit or Micro Station.
  • Perform PCB design and layout for electronic assemblies while adhering to surface mount technology (SMT) practices.
  • Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on soldering techniques, surface mount assembly, and quality assurance procedures.
Experience
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on system design, debugging, and integration of complex electronic systems.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of FPGA development, PCB layout, schematic design, and firmware programming.
  • Familiarity with signal processing techniques, vision inspection systems, and automation hardware such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Strong background in mechanical knowledge related to electrical system integration and surface mount technology (SMT).
  • Experience working with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit or Micro Station for electrical schematics and system layouts.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters or oscilloscopes.
