Job Description

Fortune Brands is looking to hire a Lead CAE Engineer to join our Product Development Innovations organization.

As Lead CAE Engineer, you'll own the following:

* Lead and manage COE simulation driven design and R&D activities

* Develop and implement a simulation technology roadmap to close capability gaps and enable product innovation.

* Lead implementation of modal based systems engineering, digital twins, and predictive maintenance strategies.

* Support new product development team with DFMEA validation through Multiphysics simulations

* Integrate upfront simulation driven design space exploration process into the product development cycle

* Deliver custom simulation training, create performance plans and mentoring programs for the engineering team

* Create guided analysis workflows, templates, and simulation apps to the design team

* Implement simulation governance protocols, quality measure & checks to ensure simulation accuracy

* Lead validation and correlation of the analytical models with test & field data

* Lead and manage the implementation of the high-performance computing/hardware infrastructure and resources for faster and accurate simulations.

* Act as material subject matter expert across the company

* Maintain a customized material database for the engineering team

* Use advanced simulation to reduce product cost and product complexities

* Communicate technical information (data, designs and updates) to a non-technical audience

This position is eligible for hybrid schedule working out of our North Olmsted, OH or Maumee, OH offices with remote days on Mondays and Fridays.
