Position: URGENT NEED: Field Surveyor
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their project needs, managing budgets, and leading field crews to ensure accuracy and efficiency in survey operations. You will conduct deed and survey research, perform fieldwork, and utilize CAD software for precise documentation.

Responsibilities Include

* Consult with clients to understand their needs and project requirements.

* Assist with preparing comprehensive proposals and managing budgets to ensure project success.

* Lead field crews, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in survey operations.

* Conduct thorough deed and survey research and review to inform project decisions.

* Perform field work associated with land surveying, engineering, and construction projects, including setup, data collection, and quality control.

* Utilize CAD software to prepare precise drawings and documents.

* Conduct survey computations with accuracy and attention to detail.

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience in field surveying, including setup, data collection, and quality control.

* Construction surveying experience in the field.

* Proficiency in using survey tools such as GPS, Total Station, and CAD software.

* 5+ years of field surveying experience or 2+ years and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Nice to Have

* Experience in civil, construction, and land surveying fields.

* Knowledge of civil 3D software.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maumee, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
