As the backbone of The JDI Group’s facilities mechanical department, you’ll oversee the design efforts of our talented engineers and designers, ensuring excellence at every turn.

• Spearhead design reviews, proposals, engineering and construction estimate development, and project schedules
• Ensure project success through meticulous review of submittals, shop drawings, field verification, and punch list activities
• Bring innovative design input to the table while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality and compliance
• Specification and development of critical systems, including commercial and industrial HVAC, compressed air, domestic plumbing systems, hydronic systems, natural gas distribution, and more

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Knowledge of industry best practices and evolving codes and standards
• Minimum of 12-15 years of HVAC and plumbing design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar engineering curriculum, focusing on HVAC
• Professional Registration (P.E.) required
• Salary Range: $104,000 – $127,000/year depending on education, experience, and any certifications directly related to the position
