Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial operations for a manufacturing environment in Holland, Ohio. This role focuses on reporting, close activities, reconciliations, and analytical support that help leaders make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting and finance knowledge, advanced spreadsheet skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Create and circulate recurring financial reports on a monthly basis, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and useful to plant and business leaders.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations each month and investigate discrepancies to preserve the accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing entries, reviewing results, and helping finalize reporting packages.
• Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating analyses that highlight performance trends, cost drivers, and key variances.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to address process delays, improve coordination, and reduce inefficiencies.
• Build and maintain custom financial reports, data analyses, and models to meet changing operational and management needs.
• Administer capital expenditure reporting and approval tracking, including monthly review of spending and project activity.
• Safeguard the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing transactions and helping ensure proper financial classification.
• Update and maintain financial reporting tools and complete additional assignments that support efficient workflow across the organization.
