Ophthalmic Technician

Job Description

We have an opening for an Experienced Ophthalmic Technician.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Patient workup (refracting, VF's, Fundus Photos & OCT, Dry eye testing, EOM, IOP's, pupil assessment, visual acuity, etc).

Certification not required to start but expected after 1 year experience here. We are a busy Ophthalmic practice open Monday-Friday, no weekends or evenings. We are looking for a Friendly Team Player that is also a morning person as we start work at 7:15 am and are done by 4:15 pm. This is a Full Time position with benefits. Only those who have the experience working in an Ophthalmic practice need apply.

Maumee Eye Clinic has been around since 1978 as an independent multi-specialty eye care practice. We have an experienced Ophthalmologist and three Optometrists who coordinate patient care with our support staff members including, certified technicians, surgery coordinators, front office, billing and recall staff along with Practice Manager. Our staff have been with this Practice for well over 20 years and strive to offer a safe, comfortable and convenient experience for all of our patients.

We are a very experienced and strong team with patients of all ages and a variety of eye care. We stay on the cutting edge of new technology and have a handful of new devices and are always looking to add new procedures, one of them being for Dry Eye Disease.
