About the FacilityArrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48‑bed psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, Ohio. We serve adult patients 18+ requiring mental health and chemical dependency services, including inpatient treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal management, stabilization, and crisis management. Our outpatient services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, relapse prevention, and a medication administration program to support lifelong sobriety.
ResponsibilitiesMental Health Techs conduct safety checks on patients, facilitate educational groups, assist nurses in the admission and discharge process, and support patients with one‑on‑one sessions daily.
QualificationsEducation: We will consider:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in psychology, sociology or a similar field.
- Associate's degree in psychology, sociology or a similar field with related experience.
- Valid CDCA from the State of Ohio with related experience.
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program or social services program.
- Relevant experience.
Entry‑level position; prior experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and a professional demeanor and appearance.
