Responsibilities
Coordinator of Risk Management supports our 48-bed psychiatric hospital’s efforts to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while driving clinical and operational quality improvement initiatives.
This role reports to the Director, Risk and Performance Improvement, and assists with the identification, evaluation, and reduction of patient safety risks, ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and helps facilitate performance improvement activities that advance patient outcomes, clinical effectiveness, and organizational excellence.
Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing risk management data and assisting the Director with developing and implementing plans to reduce risk and liability.
Arrowhead Behavioral Health serves adult patients 18+ needing mental health and chemical dependency services. Inpatient offerings include drug and alcohol withdrawal management, stabilization, and mental health crisis management. Outpatient services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, a relapse prevention program, and a medication administration program.
Qualifications- Education:
High School graduation or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Experience:
1–3 years in a hospital/healthcare setting or administrative experience. - Knowledge of risk management, patient safety, and quality improvement preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; diplomacy, discretion, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance required.
