Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free-standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH. Arrowhead offers a private, confidential and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery. Arrowhead provides a variety of specialized services for adults. This position prepares, cooks and serves food to the hospital patients and staff. Responsible for cleaning the dining room, serving line, and kitchen before leaving at the end of their shift.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  high school diploma or GED
• Serve Safe certification is required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects

Shifts:

Varies Scheduled 8-hour shift between the hours of 5 am-6:30 pm. Must be able to work weekends.

Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push and pull carts, brooms and mops. Professional demeanor and appearance required. Previous experience in a hospital setting or mental health or substance abuse treatment facility preferred but not required.
