Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Assistant Recruiter role based in Maumee, OH. The HR/Recruiter position is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified healthcare professionals to support agency staffing needs. This position focuses on recruiting compassionate and dependable caregivers, including Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Registered Nurses (RN). The Recruiter plays a key role in maintaining staffing levels, ensuring compliance, and supporting agency growth.

  • Recruit qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, and community outreach
  • Screen applicants and conduct phone and in‑person interviews
  • Verify licenses, certifications, background checks, references, and employment eligibility
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation
  • Maintain communication with applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, organizations, and workforce programs
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and employment testing as needed
  • Maintain accurate employee and applicant records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support retention efforts through employee engagement and follow‑up communication
  • Collaborate with management regarding staffing needs and recruitment strategies
  • Promote the agency professionally within the community and on online platforms
Qualifications
  • Previous recruiting, staffing, healthcare, or human resources experience preferred
  • Knowledge of home health care staffing requirements preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficient with computers and email
  • Professional appearance and customer service skills required

  • Experience in recruiting healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with state licensing and healthcare compliance requirements
  • Office‑based position with occasional community outreach and recruiting events
