Role SummaryThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, and overhauling production machinery and facility equipment to support safe and efficient operations. The role provides emergency and unscheduled repairs on production and mobile equipment while completing scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and overhaul production machines and facility equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, mobile equipment, and vehicles; perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and adjust equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Maintain a computerized preventive maintenance system.
- Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of safety policies and standards; work safely and recognize unsafe situations.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred).
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds. Ability to climb, stoop, or kneel at heights up to 100 feet. Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather, temperatures, dust, fumes, noise, and uneven surfaces.
