Toledo Tool & Die is adding a Second Shift Production Team Lead to our team to support our continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Maumee, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
Hours for this position are typically 2nd shift – 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Availability for overtime (daily, weekends, and some holidays) is required.

- Assist Department Supervisor in assigning/delegating work and coordinating safe, efficient operations to meet production goals.
- Fill in for the supervisor and perform duties when the supervisor is unavailable.
- Plan and establish job assignments and production sequences to meet goals when the supervisor is unavailable.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Authorize production stoppage if unsafe conditions are present.
- Assist in problem solving, corrective actions, and developing work instructions.
- Help with training of employees (die setters, material handlers, operators); participate in interviews and disciplinary processes when the supervisor is unavailable.
- Multitask effectively and communicate clearly; follow PPE and safety protocols as outlined in the TTD handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor or Manager.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
- Experience with die setting in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
Work will be in a warehouse/manufacturing facility and an office setting with some contact with departmental personnel and vendors. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional bending. May lift up to 15 lbs. Position requires the capability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. Schedule may vary based on plant operational needs and could include long days, evenings, and weekends.
Some travel to meetings or other facilities may be required.
