Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Operator
Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Pay: $21.00–$22.00 per hour
OverviewPerforms all material handling, shipping, and receiving functions within the facility, including basic data entry transactions within SAP.
EssentialJob Duties
- Pulls/Picks customer orders.
- Operate lift truck equipment.
- Unload incoming shipments, including bulk tanker trucks.
- Load outbound shipments and transfers.
- Generate shipping documents for transfers to 3PL and customer orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to achieve operational goals.
- Participate on plant teams and train new hires or other employees.
- Ensure products are properly labeled and all shipments are secured.
- Ensure all paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to the office.
- Work safely in accordance with company health and safety procedures and policies.
- Be willing to be trained to operate a spotter truck, as necessary.
- Maintain inventory cycle counts and accuracy.
- Maintain the work area and warehouse according to 5S standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a lead, supervisor, or other member of management.
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
- Ability to operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment; shipping experience preferred.
- Strong math, detail, and organizational skills.
Drug Screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position.
Your work environment may be dusty and may cause staining of shoes and clothing. You will be required to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 55 lbs. throughout your shift. Personal Protective Equipment will be required, such as safety glasses, gloves, respirator or dust mask, and protective footwear and/or uniforms. Overtime may be available and required at times, due to production needs.
