The Production Technician I plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes within the production environment. This position is responsible for supporting production activities by performing routine tasks that contribute to product quality and operational efficiency. The technician will work closely with team members to maintain equipment, monitor production lines, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime. Ultimately, the Production Technician I helps deliver high-quality products on schedule, supporting the overall success of the manufacturing team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 50lbs
Competency Qualifications:
- ISO Training
- Basic Math skills
- Able to self-manage
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately produce subassemblies and finished goods, while following the Setup and Assembly Procedure (SUAP) as per assigned work orders
- Bag raw materials and seal bags using sealing equipment if applicable per the SUAP, ensuring correct quantities and quality standards
- Arrange raw materials and required documentation into designated packaging according to the specified configuration outlined in the SUAP
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure proper assembly and packaging, following established guidelines
- Train on processes in Master Control as required before starting production jobs
- Accurately record required information on work orders
- Housekeeping and organization, which includes work area and warehouse cleaning, storing of and maintenance of all equipment, supplies and raw materials
