Job Description
In this role, you will learn about and support all aspects of category management for the individual product categories as well as Therma‑Tru’s overall category and brand leadership strategy.
Your Role- Monitor and research market trends as it relates to given product categories
- Complete and update competitive product matrices
- Assist category managers with new product development by helping define problems, collect product and sales data, establish facts, identify trends, and draw valid conclusions
- Provide data insights and support to the cross‑functional team to drive improved business decisions
- Support new product development process in reviewing the accuracy of new product data
- Assist in data collection for SKU rationalization and part discontinuance
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on finance, statistics, engineering, or related field
- Must possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; excellent spreadsheet capabilities; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work remotely and in the Maumee Innovation Center office depending on business needs
- Immediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of other Microsoft products including Word and Outlook
- Great organization skills
- Team oriented attitude
- Must show extreme responsibility
- Willingness to learn
- Casual and fun open concept office equipped with a Ping‑Pong Table
- No dress code!
- Work at a state‑of‑the‑art technically advanced building with an onsite analytical and physical properties lab for material and product testing and experimentation
