The Community Registered Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing and coordinating nursing services for clients in both clinical and community-based settings. This role supports day-to-day clinical operations, medical oversight, and high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Qualified candidates will be contacted directly for interviews. Initial screening is completed through application questions.
Shift11:00am-7:00pm
Key Responsibilities- Administer and coordinate nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures
- Carry a clinical caseload, including clients with chronic mental health and dual diagnoses
- Execute physician orders for treatments and medications
- Perform patient assessments, obtain nursing histories, and monitor vital signs
- Document patient care and evaluate responses to treatment plans
- Identify and report abnormal diagnostic findings
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and peer review
- Provide community-based nursing services, including assisting with and transporting clients to appointments
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical/direct patient care experience
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder, or psychiatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and medical management
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in community settings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
