Assistant Director of Nursing

As the Assistant Director of Nursing at Addison Heights Health and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care is provided to our patients. Our Medicare & Medicaid certified and VA approved skilled nursing center is dedicated to serving our community for over two decades, and we pride ourselves on providing excellent care to our patients.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall nursing services and operations of the facility
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for nursing care
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including planning, organizing, and directing nursing services
  • Quality Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in patient care, quality of life, and customer satisfaction
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care and collaboration
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies and procedures
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain professional knowledge and skills
