Registered Nurse – Inpatient
Full Time
Day Shift 7am – 7:30pm
Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, Ohio. We serve adult patients 18 years of age and older that need mental health and chemical dependency services. Inpatient offerings include treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal management and stabilization as well as mental health crisis management. Our outpatient services extend the continuum of care to include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs which allow patients to develop and utilize proper coping mechanisms to help establish a foundation for life.
Additionally, we offer a Relapse Prevention Program along with a Medication Administration Program to support patients in maintaining lifelong sobriety.
- Deliver quality nursing care for assigned patients on the inpatient units.
- Ensure patient safety and treatment, following best practice and acceptable nursing care standards defined by licensing bodies.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion, respond to codes, medication management, and group facilitation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Associate’s Degree of Nursing or BSN with Ohio RN License. - Day Shift: 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Full Time: 36 hours per week.
- Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility preferred; training will be provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Diplomacy and discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Professional demeanor and appearance required.
