Overview

As the Director of OEM Sales, you will lead and execute the entire OEM commercial strategy across the Americas region, driving sustainable and profitable growth, shaping partnerships with the world’s leading OEMs, and guiding regional sales teams to accelerate new business wins.

Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute the OEM sales strategy for the Americas, driving revenue growth and expanding market share in key industrial sectors.
  • Build and nurture executive‑level partnerships with our most important OEM customers, positioning Danfoss as their preferred solutions provider.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, business unit, and distribution teams to deliver tailored solutions and accelerate new business wins.
  • Guide your team in using consultative, technical selling to secure specification wins and navigate complex negotiations for our advanced solutions.
  • Drive commercial excellence through disciplined forecasting, pipeline management (Salesforce), and data‑driven performance to ensure predictable and profitable growth.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial or technical B2B sales, with a proven track record of managing major OEM accounts and complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success leading regional or multi‑country sales teams, with a focus on accountability and creating a high‑performance culture.
  • Deep technical and commercial expertise in hydraulics, fluid conveyance, or related industrial component sectors.
  • Exceptional skills in strategic planning, advanced negotiation, and financial acumen, with the ability to build strong executive relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce and data analysis tools such as Power BI.
