Position Overview

Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48‑bed psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, Ohio, serving adult patients 18 years of age and older who need mental health and chemical dependency services. Inpatient offerings include treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal management and stabilization as well as mental health crisis management. Our outpatient services extend the continuum of care to include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, a Relapse Prevention Program, and a Medication Administration Program to support patients in maintaining lifelong sobriety.

Full Time Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

No experience necessary; we will train the right candidate.

• Conduct safety checks on patients.
• Facilitate educational groups.
• Assist nurses with the admission and discharge process.
• Support patients with one‑on‑one sessions daily.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in psychology, sociology, or a similar field.
• Associate’s degree in psychology, sociology or a similar field with related experience.
• CDCA from the State of Ohio with related experience preferred.

This is an entry‑level position; proper customer‑service skills are required.

Previous experience in a mental‑health or substance‑abuse treatment facility is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects, with a professional demeanor and appearance required.
