Role Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for driving financial planning and analysis, overseeing cost accounting, and maintaining strong internal controls to support accurate reporting and informed decision‑making. This role partners closely with operations and leadership to improve financial performance, manage risk, and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results versus budget and forecast
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and capital investments
- Provide clear, actionable insights to senior leadership through dashboards and presentations
- Oversee cost accounting processes, variance analysis, and margin analysis
- Partner with operations to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting
- Support continuous improvement initiatives with financial analysis and KPI tracking
- Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and applicable regulations
- Lead or support internal and external audits, including documentation and remediation of findings
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes to reduce risk and increase efficiency
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, sales, and leadership
- Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with strong exposure to FP&A and cost accounting
- Solid understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and financial planning systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
- CPA, CMA, or MBA
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or cost‑intensive environments
- Financial modeling and analysis

- Process improvement and controls mindset
- Business partnering and executive communication
