Job Summary
Medline Industries, LP is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to support our growing operations. The Warehouse Operator is an integral member of our team, responsible for operating machinery to move materials around the facility for shipping, processing, and receiving. Duties include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking product.
Responsibilities- Catalog, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse.
- Arrange materials for order assembly.
- Fulfill worksheets or tickets for customers by reading production schedules, order forms, and requisitions.
- Locate and gather products to move and distribute to production workers, assembly line, or shipping areas.
- Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders.
- Operate hand truck, cart, doilies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Basic keypunch skills.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- Capacity to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- High sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
Hourly salary range: $16.50 – $24.00 (actual rate varies by location, education, experience, skills, and abilities). Medline will not pay less than applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
Benefits for employees working 30+ hours per week include health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and additional employee services.
