Phillips Medisize is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician (QET) to support our Maumelle, Arkansas manufacturing facility. This role will provide support across a variety of quality-related activities, with responsibilities evolving based on current business needs. The QET will play a key role in supporting documentation, communication, and coordination of quality initiatives across engineering and production teams.
This position is designed as a developmental opportunity, with the potential to grow into a Quality Engineering role over time based on performance and business needs.
What You Will Do- Support quality operations, including document and record management, SAP processes, quality notifications, engineering records, and product disposition
- Assist with internal, customer, and registrar audits, as well as inspections from regulatory bodies
- Provide production support for implementing new or updated quality requirements
- Contribute to quality investigations and corrective actions related to internal performance, supplier issues, and customer rejections
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key quality data and trends
- Collaborate with engineering teams and, when appropriate, communicate directly with customers
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and efforts to enhance customer satisfaction
- Perform metrology and measurement techniques to support quality standards
- Support statistical analysis through data collection and interpretation
- Assist with incoming inspection activities as needed
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word) and other computer-based systems for communication, data entry, and documentation
- Experience drafting professional written communications (emails, reports, or documentation)
- Demonstrated ability to organize information and maintain accurate records or documentation
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Experience working within SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Experience performing measurement or inspection activities using metrology tools and equipment
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
