Job Summary
The Forklift Technician Site is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers and golf carts. Must possess electronic and hydraulic troubleshooting skills with a CROWN background.

DescriptionAs a Forklift Technician, you will maintain industrial mobile equipment, troubleshoot failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and complete repairs using manufacturer guidelines and Field Connect service platform data.
Key Job Responsibilities- Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis and research of potential warranty, rework, and repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.
- Complete all repairs in a timely manner and according to manufacturer repair guidelines.
- Make judgment and decision‑making by considering relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
- Inspect equipment by performing audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
- Communicate via phone, written, e‑mail, or in person with supervisors, co‑workers, and subordinates.
- Accurately complete all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time‑keeping platform.

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills.
- Proven experience in electric forklift repair; primary focus will be on electric trucks.
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites.
- Hydraulics, conveyor experience is a plus.
- Self‑motivated with ability to manage time and attendance; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to support work order documentation and customer interaction.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with using a computer.
- Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, crouch and/or move in confined areas.
- Must meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician.
- Willingness to learn and be trained.
- A valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
